Just a reminder that tomorrow is election day.  The school will be on a two hour delay.  Doors will be open at 10:45.  Brier Creek Community Center is a polling place.  Be mindful of that as you drop and pick up your little one(s) tomorrow.  Regardless of what political party affiliation you are of or who you want to see as president for the next four years, make sure you count, make sure you vote.

It's finally here!  The Science Fair will be from 9:15 through 11:00.  Students: all projects are to be taken to your classroom.  The classes will be heading down to the cafeteria at 9:15 for set-up and later, judging.  Parents: you are permitted to enter the Fair at 10:00.  All projects will be taken down at 11:00.  Winners will be announced after the Fair and awards will be given to winners at the BCES Staff Talent Show between 6:30-8:30.

Second payment due to the school by November 18th of $100.  Checks should be made out to BCES.  The third and final payment will be TBD with a cost TBD.  We are doing a terrific job with fundraising and hope to have a reduction for everyone on the final payment.

This is something that is very rare on the East Coast.  There was an earthquake in Virginia.  The vibrations were felt as far away as Ohio and NYC.  We felt some of the vibrations as well.We could actually feel the building shake a little today.  No need to worry though.  All students and staff were ok and the building is structurally sound. 
 
We wish a belated Happy Birthday to Mr. Maynard!  His birthday was on Friday the 19th.
